OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing consecutively three to four hospitality renovation jobs while maintaining quality control, high level of customer service and sub-contractor relations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for the management of superintendents for three to four renovation consecutive renovation jobs / projects
  • Manage groups of sub-contractors, tradesmen and laborers in the execution of projects from start to finish which may include but are not limited to designing, estimating and ordering of materials
  • Facilitate and attend construction meetings
  • Responsible for construction layouts
  • Act as a communication liaison between First Finish, the client and sub-contractors
  • Manage strict timelines and schedules to facilitate meeting daily and weekly goals
  • Conduct training for superintendents, assistants and laborers in relation to the task at hand
  • Create all change orders as they pertain to a renovation project
  • Ordering and invoice review as it relates to a specific job.
  • Oversee daily and weekly plans and actions
  • Knowledgeable on the procedures for emergency evacuations and be prepared to assist the client should the need arise
  • Other duties as required

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the construction/renovation field with concurrent supervisory skills
  • Must have strong business knowledge of the construction industry as it relates to turn-key hospitality renovations
  • Must be a strategic thinker and possess strong leadership skills.
  • Experience in supervising concurrent projects
  • Must be familiar with the use of hand and power tools related to construction
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Interpersonal skills, reliability and adaptability are key attributes.
  • Must be a quick thinker, problem solver and be able to handle difficult situations as they arise at the job site
  • Will be required to travel to the job sites to oversee projects
  • Must be a team player and maintain a quality team environment
  • Ability to communicate

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be capable of:

  • Frequent walking
  • Lifting up to 40lbs.
  • Bending at the waist and knees
  • Climbing ladders up to 10’
  • Reaching a height up to 7’
  • Good hand-eye coordination
