Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill
Renovating DC’s Capitol Hill Hyatt Regency was not only extensive in terms of the project scope but in having to hide evidence of construction. With the 2008 primary elections underway maintaining guest egress and limiting exposure to construction noise and debris was critical. As attendees of political seminars met in rooms surrounding construction areas, a complete renovation took shape. Unique features of the project included: a full and circular service bars, private dining rooms, public restrooms, a full service buffet, escalators, a front desk and entry portico.
