The ground-up construction of Life in Balance Spa, Millhouse, Body & Mindfulness Center, The Great Hall, Guest Cottages, and the Miraval Passages totaled 125,700 square feet.
Design-build components consisted of mechanical, fire alarm, and sprinkler work for all new buildings.
The 31,500-square-foot Life in Balance Spa is the largest in Miraval's portfolio and included: 28 treatment rooms, three indoor pools, an indoor/outdoor pool, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, multiple lounges, a hair and nail salon, retail space, and private guest locker rooms.
Millhouse and the Body & Mindfulness Center consisted of 2 yoga rooms, 2 soundproof meditation pods, 4 workout rooms, a large indoor pool, and 12 offices.
The Great Hall is home to the Harvest Moon restaurant and The Roost Bar as well as a retail space and large outdoor courtyard.
Renovations of the existing Serenity and Discovery Guest Cottages as well as the historic Wyndhurst Mansion totaled 79,700 square feet.
Wyndhurst Mansion renovation included guest suites, lobby, grand ballroom, 1894 Fireside Bistro & Bar, music room, meeting rooms, commercial kitchen, and back-of-house areas.
The Serenity Guest Cottage renovation consisted of guest rooms and corridors, with balcony and exterior improvements; Discovery Guest Cottage renovation included guest rooms, corridors, lobby, lounge, boardrooms, office spaces, and large porte cochère.
Sitting atop 380 acres in Lenox, Massachusetts, the construction of Miraval Berkshires totaled 205,400 square feet. The ground-up construction of nine new buildings on the campus included the Life in Balance Spa, Millhouse, Body and Mindfulness Center, The Great Hall, Renewal and Reflection Guest Cottages as well as enclosed walkways referred to as Miraval Passages that are used to navigate the entire campus. Renovations of existing guest cottages and the historic Wyndhurst Mansion consisted of guest room, public space, and exterior components.
